In-Step fashions is a family owned and oriented business spanning three generations. As a true local Mary Eckert grew up in Fredericksburg marrying her high school sweetheart. Mary moved back to Fredericksburg in the early 90's and decided to take over the family business from her mom, Mary Morin. 

Mrs. Morin, founder of In- Step & avid shoe-lover, started providing shoes to the Fredericksburg community in 1986. Shortly after, she decided to expand into apparel and accessories. From time to time you will still see Mrs. Morin strolling in her high heels shopping for a new outfit.
